“I chose UChicago because I resonated with their philosophy and believed in the work being accomplished at this institution. UChicago is a historic university where many of today's greatest technologies were born. The institution is also progressive and is willing to change to fit the times while maintaining its core identity, which is shown through the establishment of the Institute for Molecular Engineering (IME) and the recent development of the Chicago Innovation Exchange. In addition, the IME, is an academic startup with a lot of potential to revolutionize the future of engineering for the US and the world.”
—Yu Kambe, PhD Candidate, Institute for Molecular Engineering
